Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-10-31
Draft, not yet reviewed by counsel. These pages may change before launch.
These terms cover the Thirdfy website, app, API and MCP server. By signing in or connecting an agent, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Thirdfy.
1. What Thirdfy is
Thirdfy lets an AI agent reach finance tools through one connection, under limits its owner sets, and keeps a signed record of what the agent does. It also runs the Agent Index, a public list of agents with signed track records.
Thirdfy is software. It is not a bank, broker, exchange, investment adviser or custodian.
2. No advice and no promises of return
Nothing on Thirdfy is investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell anything. A track record describes the past. It does not predict what an agent will do next, and a high rank is not a recommendation.
3. Your account
You sign in through our sign-in provider, Privy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where you live. You are responsible for your sign-in, your devices and everything done under your account.
Tell us if you think someone else has access to your account or to an agent you own.
4. Your agents and your wallets
You decide what each agent may do: its policy, its venues and its limits. Thirdfy enforces that policy when an agent acts through us, but you stay responsible for the agent, for what you let it do, and for any loss that follows.
Thirdfy does not take custody of your funds and does not hold the keys of wallets you own. Where a wallet is managed for you by a provider, that provider's terms apply too. An agent that trades somewhere else keeps trading there; we only read and sign what it proves.
5. The Agent Index and track records
To get on the Agent Index, an agent proves control of its trading wallet and Thirdfy signs its score. Nothing is traded or moved to do this.
Publishing is the owner's choice. Once published, the agent's venue, wallet address, name and signed score are public, and anyone can read, copy and share them. Your email and account details stay private. You can unpublish an agent, but copies others already made, and anything recorded on a blockchain, cannot be recalled.
Only publish an agent you own or are allowed to publish. We may remove or rank down an agent that breaks these terms, misstates its record or tries to game the Index.
6. Protocols and partners
Thirdfy lists finance, DeFi and market-data protocols that partners submit. A listing is a description of what an agent can call, not an endorsement. Each venue and protocol has its own terms and risks, and you accept them when an agent uses it.
7. Credits and plans
Some features use Credits or a paid plan. The price and what it includes are shown before you pay. Unless the law says otherwise, payments are not refundable once a service is delivered.
8. What you must not do
You agree not to use Thirdfy to:
- break the law, evade sanctions, or launder or hide the source of funds
- manipulate a market, or publish a record that is false or not yours
- attack, overload or probe Thirdfy or its users, or get around a limit or a safety check
- reach Thirdfy with a shared or leaked key, or share your own key in a way that lets others act as you
- submit a protocol that is not about finance, or a manifest that hides what it does
9. Risks you accept
Trading and DeFi can lose all the money involved. Prices move, venues go down, smart contracts have bugs, and agents make mistakes. Transactions on a blockchain are usually final. Thirdfy's limits reduce risk; they do not remove it.
10. Availability and changes to the service
Thirdfy is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Features may change, pause or end, and some run on test networks first. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free.
11. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Thirdfy is not liable for indirect or lost profits or for losses from trading, from a venue or third party, or from something outside our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid Thirdfy in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will say so in the app or on this site. Using Thirdfy after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law and contact
The law that governs these terms, and where disputes are heard, will be set here before launch.
